Our Step-By-Step Process

The installation process typically involves the following steps:

  • The surface is Diamond grinded to remove the top layer of concrete and/or any pre existing coatings to allow the Epoxy to adhere to the concrete correctly.

  • The Epoxy basecoat is applied with a 25 PSI moisture vapor barrier.

  • Vinyl flakes are then broadcasted until rejection into the wet Epoxy basecoat.

  • The flakes are then scraped smooth for an even finish.

  • The floor is then coated with a clear Polyaspartic gel coat with aluminum oxide to encapsulate the whole floor, and give the area a slip and UV resistant finish.

  • The floor is ready for foot traffic just 24 hours after completion. In just 48 hours, the epoxy coating fully cures, allowing for the safe placement of heavy objects.
